Sour Cherry-Lime Juice

Sour Cherry-Lime Juice

A sweet and sour satisfying drink that is refreshing for those summer days when cherries are in season.

This is our summer-time, guilty pleasure juice. It tastes like a sour patch kid, or what we imagine a lighter sour patch kid should taste like. If you love sour candy, pineapples, cherries, and limes then this will really be an enjoyable vitamin-full treat for you.

We make this drink more often in the summer during cherry season. Since cherries were on sale at our local grocery store, we bought 2 bags and have been enjoying this Sour Cherry-Lime Juice quite often.

This juice wraps up our “favorite juices” series. If you have been following our blog, you will have seen that we have been periodically posting our five favorite juice recipes.

We are a huge proponent of juicing, as it has been an important part of our life for the last few years. Ever since we read The Juiceman’s Power of Juicing, actually.

Since it has been so long, we experiment less and stick to our favorites. We normally alternate between those five favorites regularly.

We figured that if those five juice recipes could keep us happy for years, then they must be too good to not share them!

Sour Cherry-Lime Juice

This juice is different than our previous four favorites in that there are no veggies here! Nothing but sweet citrusy goodness.

And even though we love the other four juices, as we previously said, this Sour Cherry-Lime juice is our guilty pleasure.

It always makes us feel better and it seriously helps with our sweet tooth cravings. If you have a bag full of cherries in your fridge, we highly recommend you try this!

We're kind of sad that all five of our favorite juices are all posted now. That doesn’t mean we won’t post more juice recipes though.

We always enjoy experimenting with food creations and know that there are so many more to discover. We just wanted to share the five juices that have been consistently our favorite for us. Enjoy!

Here is a fast recap of our five favorite juices:

  1. Fennel Immune Booster
  2. Strawberry Beet Detox Juice
  3. Tropical Kale Carrot Juice
  4. Refreshing Tomato Carrot Juice
  5. Sour Cherry-Lime Juice

* Note: we've been asked what type of juicer we use. We've actually used the same Waring Pro Juicer for years! We love it because not only is it affordable, it is more importantly simple to clean and durable, which results in juicing more often and for a longer amount of time.
