We are excited to share this lighter turkey meatballs recipe today!
Why this recipe works:
- These baked turkey meatballs without breadcrumbs are satisfying! Rolled oats are used as a breadcrumb replacement. We like the way that the oats retain the moisture of the meatballs in a similar fashion that bread crumbs do.
- This recipe is made with simple ingredients that we usually already have in our house.
- It comes together in less than 30 minutes.
- These gluten-free turkey meatballs are allergy friendly. They are dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free.
- Ground turkey is a good lean source of protein. Each meatball has 11 grams of protein.
- They taste great with these Whole30 mashed potatoes.
Recipe Ingredients:

- ground turkey– regular fat ground turkey works best here. Not the 99% lean kind.
- rolled oats– make sure your rolled oats are certified gluten-free to ensure that there is no cross contamination.
- onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, dried basil, dried oregano– these spices help flavor the meatballs.
- egg– this binds the meatballs together.
- coconut aminos– this also helps flavor the meatballs. If you don’t have coconut aminos, you can use balsamic vinegar or soy sauce.
